Pakistan Super League 2020 Venue and Announcements. PSL session 5 Schedule.

Finally, the time is near when most awaiting league for Pakistan is coming back. Pakistan Super League 2020 is going to start from 20 February 2020.
And this time Pakistan Super League might be played entirely in Pakistan which was a wish of whole Pakistan. Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) and all six team franchises have agreed to play PSL 2020 in Pakistan.

Announcements:-

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) fulfilled their promise with fans and followers of hosting entire PSL in Pakistan. HBL Pakistan Super League 2020 with all the 34 matches to be played in Pakistan from 20 Feb to 22 Mar.

Venue:-

Pakistan Cricket Board has selected Karachi, Multan, Lahore, and Rawalpindi as cities where this beauty will be played.
  1. Gadaffi Stadium, Lahore with a seating capacity of 27000 people will host 13 matches.
  2. National Stadium, Karachi with a seating capacity of 35000 people will host 9 matches.
  3. Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium with a seating capacity of 28000 people will host 8 matches.
  4. Multan Cricket Stadium with a seating capacity of 35000 people will host 4 matches.
Lahore, which is home of PCB's headquarters, is going to host 13 matches out of 34 matches including the final. But in this year matches in Lahore were all shifted to Karachi due to political issues with India.
But the announcement is also made that they are still subject to players to play the entire tournament in Pakistan and UAE still remain in backup option.

Participation of Players throughout the World in PSL:-

PCB Chairman Ehsan Mani said; "The HBL PSL 2020 will feature 36 foreign players. 425 players from 22 countries registered their interest in playing PSL 2020. This shows the confidence that players throughout the world have in playing in Pakistan".
