India vs New Zealand 1st Semi Final. Great gameplay by India and New Zealand

VIRAT KOHLI: The first half, we were very, very good. We got what we needed at that point. We thought we had restricted New Zealand to a chaseable score but the way they come out with the ball was what made the difference. I think it was the skill level on display (from NZ bowlers) was there for all to see. Jadeja had a really good couple of games and it's his performances that are a huge positive. New Zealand deserves it, they put us under more pressure. At times, I think our shot selection could have been better. Really proud of the way we competed throughout the tournament. As I said, come the knockouts, New Zealand was braver than us and deserve to win. Thanks to all the fans, thanks for coming out in huge numbers.

MATT HENRY: In the break, we talked about making sure we do the best we can. Play the we want to play. We started well with the ball and created a lot of pressure. We had to ask a lot of questions against that world-class batting line-up. We knew we had to create pressure against that batting line-up but we also knew that this was a difficult wicket to bat on and it was holding up a little bit. We brought ourselves on and if we could create a few early chances, anything could happen. Hardik and Dhoni, the way they batted with Jadeja to come in, we know they are world-class finishers. We needed to finish off well and get them out before it went too deep. Very special to earn ourselves a Lord's final, thanks to all the New Zealand supporters out there. We are looking forward to the final on Sunday.

NZ ENTER FINAL: Neesham starts with a length delivery and Chahal manages to get a four. And on the third ball of the over Chahal edges one to Latham. New Zealand has won the match by 18 runs. Excellent performance by the Kiwis.

OUT: A slow one from Ferguson and Bhuvneshwar loses his stumps. Kiwis have been exceptional on the day. India loses their ninth wicket. It's 217/9 after 49 overs.

OUT: Lockie bowls a short one and Dhoni square-cut him for a six on the first ball of the penultimate over. Dhoni looks for a two but Guptill brilliance in the field sees the back of Dhoni. He goes for 50. And with him, India's hopes also vanish. India is 216/8.

OUT: Boult starts the 48th over. Dhoni gets one from the middle of the bat but Santner fields well in the deep. This match is getting really close. But India is not able to get in a boundary. And Boult has Jadeja. He skies the ball and Williamson takes a great catch under pressure. Jadeja departs for 77 from 59. India is 208/7.

200: 200 comes up for India in Matt Henry over. The target is still some distance away. India needs to keep up the good work now. India manages to get four singles in five balls. India need much more than that at the moment. Make that five runs. India is 203/6 in 47 overs. They need 37 from 18 balls.

FOUR: Boult comes back into the attack and India wouldn't want to take a chance in this over. But Jadeja edges one from the bowler and gets a four. India is 198/6 after 46 overs and now India needs 42 from 24 balls.

SIX: Jadeja is in some form. He digs a length ball from Ferguson and gets a six over long-off. India needs Jadeja to continue. Another over comes to an end and India are 188/6 after 45 overs. India needs 52 from 30 balls.

FIFTY FOR JADEJA: Neesham comes back into the attack. Jadeja needs to continue hitting the shots the way he is. In fact, he does just that and cracks a four through midwicket. And Jadeja brings up his fifty. India is 168/6 in 42 overs.

SIX: Santner comes back into the attack. And Jadeja picks up a length ball and dispatches it into the stands. India looks like they are still in the game. After 41 overs India is 159/6.

SIX! Jadeja gets down the ground and absolutely hammers Santner over the mid-wicket boundary! What a shot that was. 10 precious runs came off that over. India is 141-6 in 39 overs.

OUT! Pandya has to depart and India is in trouble. Goes for the big shot off Santner but can't time it properly and only manages to spoon it up and Williamson takes a good catch. India is 92-6.

OUT: A big wicket here for the Kiwis. Pant sweeps Santner and is caught by de Grandhomme in the deep. He goes for 32 from 56 balls. India is
